Default configurable RSH-s protocol for heat-stressed work: scheduled rest, shade/cooling, hydration, sanitation, and prevention of excessive core-temperature rise.
The La Isla Network / Adelante Initiative RSH-s model — rest, shade, hydration, sanitation, and core-temperature prevention — is this calculator's default protocol. See the full standard page.
Saudi Arabia combines a summer midday ban with heat-index-based break requirements and a stop-work threshold. Hydration interval requirements by Heat Index risk band:

|---|---|---|
| Critical | ≥ 56°C | 15 min |
| Extreme | 52–56°C | 15 min |
| High | 39–52°C | 15 min |
| Moderate | 30–39°C | 20 min |
| Low | 25–30°C | 20 min |
| Safe | < 25°C | 20 min |
