Tyosuojeluhallinto's 'Thermal conditions' guidance defines 'hot work' (kuumatyo) as indoor/workplace air temperature above 28°C and publishes a graduated maximum-continuous-work-period schedule: 28-33°C -> max 50 minutes worked per hour (10-minute break); above 33°C -> max 45 minutes worked per hour (15-minute break). The underlying general duty (Tyoturvallisuuslaki 738/2002 §39) does not itself state these figures. The authority's claim that the figures were 'confirmed by the Supreme Administrative Court (KHO)' could not be independently verified this session -- legalStatus is 'guidance', not 'regulation'.

A separate, explicitly non-binding FIOH (Tyoterveyslaitos) research-based recommendation for heavy work above +30 deg C (30-minute continuous work / 20-minute recovery break) is documented by the source dossier but deliberately NOT computed by this engine -- it is a distinct advisory figure, from a different source, with a different temperature trigger and workload scope, than the general 28-33/>33 Tyosuojelu schedule above.
