Governing metric: Heat index (°F) — derived from air temperature and relative humidity if not directly measured
Programmable logic: Triggered at heat index ≥80°F. Three tiers: 80–89°F baseline monitoring (60/0); 90–99°F mandatory 10-min cool-down break per 2-hour period (50/10); ≥100°F mandatory 15-min break per period (45/15). 1 qt/hr cool water required.
